Our Story – Believe Hot Yoga & The Sanctuary by Believe
Founded by Steve & Tammy Calhoun
In 2024, Steve and Tammy Calhoun followed a divine pull toward a slower, more intentional life. One rooted in faith, health, and purpose.
That path led them from the hustle of Southern California to the peaceful hills of Boquete, Panama, where they now serve their community through faith-based volunteer work and a shared vision for healing.
Believe Hot Yoga was born not out of ambition, but out of calling.
Tammy had long carried a passion for yoga and holistic wellness. Steve had always been a quiet builder of beautiful things, spaces, gardens, safe places for others to rest. Together, they imagined a small, welcoming space where people could show up just as they are, no pressure, no pretenses, and begin again.
What started in a subleased corner of another studio became something deeply personal. With Steve’s hands and heart leading the way, the couple built The Sanctuary by Believe, a space filled with warmth, simplicity, and soul.
Tammy’s classes are slow, strong, and heart-led; especially designed for women navigating midlife and seasons of transition. Her approach to hot yoga is rooted in breath, stillness, and personal grace.
No flexibility required. No experience needed.
Just a willingness to begin.
